Loss and grief has its own clock and as you continue to heal I pray the comfort of the Holy Spirit to hold you extra close and the God of Peace be your hourly portion during this anniversary season.

The timing of this message shows how disconnected we've become over time. As a persistent genealogy amateur, I happened upon the grave of one Elma Gordon at First African B.C. in Edgard. Noting the age, I assumed that it was a close relative (or even mother) of Regina. I also noted that she died two months after my own father in neighboring Vacherie.
