I did not know your father, but he sounds like a wonderful person and loving father and husband to your mother. I do know you though sweet friend and you are proof of a loving sweet daughter to her precious father. I know you will miss him greatly and it is so hard to let go. But the memories and love you have for him will carry you until you see him again. My prayers are with you and your entire family. Love Erin

I have such fond memories of you dear dad from my Wichita days, particularly, his okara. I'd never heard of okara until I met your dad! And the night that he and my brother Bryan spent out in your front yard looking at the stars and the planets through a telescope! And...I have to mention the sound of his trumpet. Oh, he could play that trumpet! I'm sorry for your loss...but like you said, he's up in Heaven with you dear, sweet mother!
