Read MoreSo sad to hear that Garry has passed away. He was a great friend when we were learning to fly at Rotorua Aero Club, 1963 on, and then to meet again for last 20 years at Warbirds Ardmore. Garry was always a cheery guy who loved to fly and I always enjoyed his company. My kindest sympathy to Monica.

Remembered with love and respect by the Chaplin family. Many happy memories of starting our families around the same time and the joy of coming together. I can imagine that about now Pete and Gary are getting reacquainted over a beer in heaven.
