Not sure what to say?

Condolences to you all. We lived next door to you for some years and shared stories about rabbits and watched Charles and Charlotte grow up. Deepest sympathy Deb, Steve Jo and Fiona

Those of you that were at the funeral will know that Garry wrote his own message for family and friends; these are Garry’s words that I had the great privilege to relay on the day.

Garry Evans – My Final Thoughts

I think funerals are like weddings, unless it is directly associated to you they are incredibly boring so I have kept my final thoughts brief so you can all get away and have a drink or whatever takes your fancy.

Born into this world on the 2nd of January 1960 I...

We are sorry that we were unable to attend Gary's funeral, but our thoughts were with you all.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dear Tracy, Garry Jnr, Sam, Charles and Charlotte: I'm so sorry we were unable to be at Garry's funeral but we all send you our love at this difficult time. From what Sonia has told me over the past two years or so, Garry fought his illness with sheer gritty determination and dignity taking immense strength, I'm sure, from your love and courage. He is now on the next stage of his journey - his love and spirit live on in all of you and I know that Garry will always be with you, watching over...

Tracy, Garry Junior, Sam and Charlotte, my prayers are with you all. I knew Garry more as a passing acquaintance in the office. His positive outlook, humour and calmness belied the responsibilites and challenges of his role, indeed as Colin said his true ability was that he could make it look all too easy.

It was a priviledge to have known Garry and I hope with each day that his passing will be easier for you.

Dear Garry,
What a kind helpful son-in-law you were, we will miss you greatly but have hundreds of happy memories to remind us of you.
Deepest love,
Mum and Dad. xx

To Tracey and all the family - my thoughts are with you.
Garry impressed me by his fighting spirit and reminded us how to place our work into our life context.
