Not sure what to say?

I grew up with the Harper clan and our group of close friends at the First Assembly of God in Denver and we all spent endless hours hanging out at what we affectionately dubbed the "Harper Hotel." Garry was the youngest of that group, but he was competitive, forthright, bold in his opinions, a great storyteller, and possessed with a God-given infectious charm and winning personality that just made me smile. Not surprised at all that he became a man of letters, prolifically so. When I think of...

Went with Gary and Donica to Israel this Spring. Was wonderful to meet them. Saw them in line at the Ben Gurion Airport , we hugged and said if we didn't see each other on this earth, we'd see each other in Heaven. See you there Gary

I'm still processing the feelings from Praising God that Garry is home to feeling the personal void of losing a wonderful friend. Garry's yest for life and passion for Christ have been an inspiration to me and a comfort in time of need. He will never be forgotten. Garry told me an interesting story a few days before he passed about the pivotal moment he decided to commit his life to Christ. He said it happened during a little league championship baseball game. While playing center field...

Donica and Garry's family, we are so sad to hear of Garry's passing. While here in Mtn Home, ID at 1st So. Baptist, as the Worship leader, Garry would occasionally include us to do the music as we sang traditional hymns and choruses. He loved them as we do. I'm sure he's now singing with the angels and saints around God's throne, rejoicing and praising God. We will miss him. Love and Prayers, Betty and Gerry Finley

My prayers go out to Garry's family at this time. I am so sorry for the loss of Garry. Keep good memories in your heart to get you through the bad days. Love, Donna Harper

Rest in peace my brother. I look forward to a heavenly reunion.

6/19/25 I went to school with Garry from elementary through high school. He was kind, athletic, intelligent, and faithful. We lost touch after high school, but I had recently found him on Facebook in preparation for our 50th High School Reunion. He will be missed and memorialized in a tribute to classmates who have passed. My deepest sympathies to his family, friends and congregation.

Rest in Peace our fellow brother.
