Not sure what to say?

My prayers go up for Michael, Cynthia and all the family as I share their loss. I remember Garry fondly, mostly from our high school days - him in the band and stage plays and variety shows we did. Good memories.

My heart is sad and heavy at the repose of my long time friend Garry. We played pewee football together when we were in the 7th and 8th grade. On the Del Rio city council together for 8 years. Directors and Directors of Eemertus of the San Antonio Livestcok Show for over 30 years together. His passion and love for Del Rio showed in every thing he did. Rest well in the arms of the Lord old friend!!

It is so sad to hear of Garry's passing. I was in the Del Rio High School Band with Garry and will always cherish our high school memories. My husband is also a trumpet player and we continue to play in community band together. I still play the cymbals! May Garry rest in peace.

Cynthia, my condolences to you and your family. I remember Garry as one of those "hero upperclassmen" when I was a mere junior high student in Del Rio.

Cynthia, I'm out of town and just heard of your loss. I can' be there, but please know that my heart and so, so many memories are with you today.

Garry was such a wonderful person and a great asset to Del Rio. we are all grateful for his service to our city. I send my love and sympathy . Mary Louise Dickehut

I knew Garry for the past 15 years and we played hundreds of rounds of golf together. He was always a good friend and a man of his word. He called me on Thanksgiving day and I am forever grateful that he did. I am going to miss him and send my heartfelt sympathy to Cynthia and the family. Garry was a good guy.

Garry was a great representative of the Del Rio Community and when we lived there, I enjoyed knowing him very much. He will be missed by all. My prayers and sympathy to the family in this sad, unexpected loss.

Dearest Cynthia, we are so deeply saddened over your loss and wish to express our sincerest condolences. Gary's contributions to his community and his country were considerable and will be lasting tributes. We are praying for you as you go through the coming days and urge you to lean on those of us who love you. Deidre and Wes Vick
