Not sure what to say?

There was no better teacher @ WHS for installing work ethics in kids, to say the least he was an awesome man. He inspired me to set my goals high and do my best at whatever I set forth to do. I humbly say "thank you"

Mr Peterson I never really got to thank u for being such a great teacher so thank u! U taught practical life lessons that I use and have passed on to my children especially when job hunting! Ur family was blessed to have u as their husband father and grandfather! Class of '71" go wolves!

Darlene, I just heard about Garry. So sorry for your loss. All the years in Bunco I never got to know him. Sounds like he was a wonderful teacher. Looking forward to giving you a hug when your ready for Bunco. My Prayers are with you and your family. Love Mary Bennett

Garry Peterson was a good teacher at WHS the four years I was there. He would say hi. to me and sometime we talk in the business hall or on campus. WHS class of 77

We were saddened by Garry's passing. He was a good friend and we will miss him. God bless Darlene and family.

Garry and Darlene were members of the same Pinochle club as Lin and I, and we met monthly for over twenty years. Garry was always there for his friends and family, lots of fun to be with and full of both good advice and good laughs. We are so sorry to lose him, and our love and sympathy go out to Darlene and the family.

It is with shocked sadness that I read about one of my favorite teachers passing away. Mr. Peterson was a memorable and one of the best teachers I had at WHS, class of 72. Through-out my adult life when the topic of "Who's the teacher you're most thankful for?", hands down it was Mr. Peterson for teaching Occupational Development, teaching life skills that truly helped with life after high school. My deepest sympathy to you, Mrs. Peterson and your family... your husband made an impact with...
