Garry Dean Pope

I first met Garry and Janet in 1988 or so. Garry would umpire the women's softball games. Later on Janet would keep score for our softball tournaments while Garry umpired games. He was a thorough and fair umpire, not given to be loud or in your face. What I most admired about Garry was his respect for his wife, Janet. He was her body guard, he stood up for her, and protected her. Garry was a fine example of a Christ-like man.

You were always there for me in our 59 years of marriage. I Love you for time and eternity. You will always be our angel watching over me and our family until we all meet again.
