Garth Chivers

Garth´s mother Estelle was my father´s sister. His name is Stanley Oran Brower. I, being my father´s only son spent 2 summers at Garth and Glenis´s home just outside of Chalis. Garth taught me a lot about farming and ranching. Plowing fields, mowing, bailing and bringing in hay. Linking cows twice a day, feeding chickens, mending fence and even breaking horses. Garth was strong as an ox, tall and skinny as I recall. I think of he and his family often with recollections of many good times....
