Not sure what to say?

We will always love you, Garth. There are so many who keep a loving memory of you in their hearts. What a gift you were. Mom and Dad

We are forever missing our special friend... we remember him fondly, speak about him, and carry him in our hearts. Your memory lives with us, Garth. I was reminiscing on how smelly your feet were one day with your mom. In life it's really about the small things. You left us with a lot to talk/laugh about.

There are certain songs I hear and it reminds me of you. You were my neighbor when we both were Yankees working in a very southern small town that actually led us both to important chapters in our lives. I remember broken vaccums... lost cats...laying around sharing music...KFC...your shy but sweet roommate..new years eve tag alongs and a soul I will never forget. I hope your children and wife are blessed and your mom is at peace because I know how much you loved them. meee

Garth, I think of you often and spoke about you the other day. I can and never will forget you my friend. You were a gift to me. I wish I hadn´t waited so long to reach out and say hi, or tell you I love you, dear friend. I also wish that your kids had more time to know you in their adolescence or adulthood. I´m sure they are special, funny, intelligent, sensitive, and kind just like their dad. Sending prayers and all the best to your wife, kids, and parents and brother + other family. You´ll...

Some people just stay with you. Garth is one of those people. I googled him today and found this. Such a sad loss of a good human. I´m in Australia and haven´t seen him for close to 20 years, but over the years I´ve often thought of him. One of those people who stands out because of how safe, kind, caring and accepting he is. I can´t remember if I knew him from rotary youth exchange in Mexico in 2001 or McGill Uni in 02/03 - my main memory is staying at his family home in Vermont and eating...

Something made me think of Garth today and searched him to find this very sad news. I knew Garth at McGill. He was my study partner for anthropology and we would run together up Mt Royal. I knew him as reserved but so smart and creative (I'm thinking of his plan after leaving McGill to live outdoors tapping maple trees before transitioning to Vermont). Deepest condolences.

I knew Garth through a mutual love for our sport, racquetball. My dad helped with the youth team and I got a chance to interact with Garth outside our normal interactions at school. He was funny, kind, thoughtful, attentive, and sweet. He was one of my very best friends as an adolescent, and today I was reminiscing our times together. Ive been meaning to reach out for years. Today, I finally followed through only to find this obituary. Im stunned and so saddened. Nearly 22 years ago Garth...

Heidi, I am so sorry to hear the news of Garth. He was such a nice guy. My prayers go up for you and your sons.
