It's awesome to hear how one life left imprints on MANY minds and hearts. I never met Garth yet enjoyed learning about him through his Beloved Linda and Beloved Julie. You were more than a brother-in-law to me, you were more like a dear, cherished brother. You were a treasure of a man, so talented, so accomplished, so loved. The void you left is endless. Jack Knotts & Garth Martin - 2009

Garth, Murry to my family, was my Father, Jack Knotts' best friend for 73 years. Murry and Jack met at age 9 sitting across the isle from each other in a Texarkana, Texas theater. Murry was holding a small vial with some mysterious liquid in it and when Dad asked him what was in the vial he said "arsenic". They were inseparable from that day on until Garth left for Marine boot camp during the Korean War. My Dad, who is height challenged as compared to Garth, has said many times that Garth was...
