AULD, Garwin George - Of Flint, age 67, died Friday, December 27, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Reverend Dennis Church officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 10am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Garwin was born in Flint, Michigan on May 27, 1952, the son of the late Peter Douglas and Janet Mae (Glover) Auld. He was a 3rd generation carpenter. Garwin loved doing projects with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and knew how to have a good time. Garwin always liked to make jokes and make people laugh. He was really proud of all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved being with his dog Little Bit, who was with him until the end.
Surviving are daughters, Crissie (Michael) Stahl, Julie (Elias) Temich, Katrina Stevens, Jennifer (Thomas) Shelby, Diane (Mike) Regan;
Sons, Robert (Victoria) Winn, Adam (Annita) Auld-Winn, James (Ashley) Winn;
38 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren;
and brother, Danny Auld.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Garwin George Auld II, grandson, Keith Andrew Davison and sisters, Brenda and Cindy.
