Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe a few days after we left the pheasant fields Gary left the field of earth. Great times in the outdoors, trying to keep the dogs in line. Gary will be missed. See ya on the other side buddy.

I had the pleasure of joining Gary on several South Dakota pheasant hunting trips over the years, always alongside his beloved Brittanys. He was a great guy, quick with a laugh, genuine in every conversation, and a joy to be around in the field. He´ll be sorely missed. My condolences to his family.

GARY IS REMEMBERED FOR HIS MANY STORIES AND TIMES AT CHRYSTEL VALLEY.MY BROTHER ADRIAN AND I SEND OUR CONDOLENCES

I am sorry to hear Mike about the passing of your brother, Gary. Back in the day, I would see Gary when he would stop in the Falcons with the Kaydon crew and talk about his next adventure. May God bless his soul.

So many good times our families living on Peck Street and helping your Mom and Dad at the flower shop. Loved every minute I could be there. Good times! RIP Gary. So sorry Mike.

We worked w/ Gary for along time. So sorry for your loss. Prayers to family & close friends.

If he had known his time was up, he would have changed nothing. He still would have gone to CO, S Utah, and N AZ to see the mountains and rock formations, to Mike and Sue's farmette so his dog could harass their ducks and chickens, and to S Dakota to pheasant hunt. Well done.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Gary's passing. He was a good friend and co-worker at Kaydon. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Our prayers for God's strength, peace and love for the Ankeny family at this time.....

Gary and I shared MANY fun times together during our years at Mona Shores High School. He was a forever friend. He will truly be missed by many.
