Not sure what to say?

I worked with Gary at Smith's Pharmacy for many hours. Gary was a kind gentle soul who made me laugh. I always enjoyed our time together. Sadly he quit pharmacy work and I had to trudge on with out him. He was a little nervous being very tall ( 6'10" i think) and how he stood out. His favorite saying when I worked with him was "they shoot the tall guys first".... What a sad loss. Peace and God Bless to his family and friends.

Gary was always so sincere. We spent many evenings visiting neighbors. It was a responsibility we had, but it never seemed like it while getting to know people.
He made the connection to get me into our own business over 10 years ago.
I sure love that Man

We always enjoyed seeing you walk hanh in hand down the street. We're sorry Gary had to leave. Don and Shirley Haslam

We want to send our thoughts and prayers your way at this hard time of Gary's passing. So saddened to have heard about it.
There are 3 special times we remember about Gary although there were many more.
Marv and I made sure we were in Gary's Gospel Principles class in Sunday School. He gave such tender and thought provoking lessons and we felt the spirit as he taught.
We really had a great time with Gary and Cindy as we took CERT training at the same time as they did over at...

Great friend, will be missed, Gary and Cindy wonderful people, all our love and prayers

Gary was a jolly giant. His physical size was large in stature, but so was his personality. Gary and Cindy are amazing--they moved into our neighborhood and EVERYONE fell in love with them. I always thought of them as resident grandparents for the ward and neighborhood. Two things I will always remember: 1) Gary's prayers at church. His tone and petitions coupled along with his gratitude was like Heavenly Father is his best friend. Gary's faith strengthened my faith. 2) How he treated...

So sorry for the the loss of Gary. May you be blessed and comforted during this tender time. Did his family live on Harrison Ave in SLC? I knew a Karen Arbon years ago. They lived next door to my grandmother.

I so appreciated Gary’s friendly manner and welcoming handshake at church. I will always remember the way he prayed—such an honest communication with Heavenly Father. He made prayers seem like simple conversations, as they should be. I’m so sorry for your loss Cindy.

We love you,
