Not sure what to say?

To the family of Gary Ashton: I was sorry to hear of the death of Gary. His mother and father were long time members of our church and Gary was always supportive. I loved his mother very much and got to know her when she volunteered her time in the church school. Blessings to them and him and you. Rev. Jean Cook Brown, Unversalist Church of West Hartford.

I'm fortunate to have known Gary and will always remember him as a person who made those he knew feel good. My wish for those that were closest to him is that they find comfort in the memories they have of him.

Although I am a newcomer to this family, and only knew Gary for a few years, when I think of family gatherings, I first remember Gary's great spirit, rich voice and hearty laugh, and how no occasion was boring when Gary was a part of it.

He will always be in my heart, if not my life.

Dear Sue and Family,
I had the chance to meet Gary a few years ago. He was friends with my good friend's father Tony DiBella. Gary and I would talk technology and stocks. The best were his stories from the past and looking back at all the good times he had. He will be missed. My condolences go out to Sue and family.

Sue, although I haven't the opportunity to meet you, Gary mentioned you so often during the times I spent with him. He was very fond of you. I am Wayne DiBella's niece, Tina's best friend. I lived with them in Windsor Locks for some time and had the joy of knowing the infamous Uncle Garro, as we candidly called him, for so many years. We celebrated Christmas together 2 years ago and it remains one of my favorite memories. He was my lone Red Sox supporter in a Yankee house and cheered...

To Sue and family. He will be missed but also remembered in my heart and loved. Jill

Gary, you will be sorely missed. You have been an important fixture at family gatherings for as long as I can remember, and it will not be the same without you.

"No one leaves you
When you live in their heart and mind
And no one dies
They just move to the other side"

Our heartfelt sympathies in this, your time of grief.
