Gary Eugene Atchison

Missing him during the holidays are the hardest. He was so full of cheer. And couldn´t wait to call and wish everyone he knew Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

Atty Atchison gave me my first job when I finished at Alabama State University as his secretary. For over 20 yrs he kept my voice on his voice mail. Those two years, I worked with him, he was more than a employer but a mentor. I learned so much from him. I hate we lost touch but he will forever be in my heart.

Oh, Nancy, family, and Pam, I'm so sorry to hear about Gary. He was a long-time friend with whom I covered many cases over the past 40 years. He was always kind in depositions, court, and his dealings with lawyers on the other side.

I knew Gary for many years when we attended the Buddhist group led by Charlie Suhor. I truly admired Gary very much. A kind and generous man whose presence in the world improved the lives of so many. He always spoke with much love about his daughter. His passing is a loss to the community and all those who knew this fine man. Emmi Harrell
