Not sure what to say?

Gary was such a great friend from the internet. Was just thinking of him the other day. I pray I meet you in Heaven one day.

Still remembering You, and our many memorable experiences, 1964 at Danang, also in Okinawa, back to Vietnam - Semper Fi, my fellow 8404 Corpsman Brother.

I miss my friend Gary. He always gave me good advice. Gary you were the brother I wish I had had. Thank you and I know you are rating peacefully in Heaven.

Linda, your Christmas card was probably the saddest that I have ever received. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Gary and I spent many happy hours stationed together at Camp Schwab, Okinawa in 1964 and off the coast of Vietnam on a battalion float; going inland at a later time with different USMC units. He was one of the best Corpsmen ever. I am so thankful for the visit to your home in Oct 2009. May God bless you.

To Ms. Bailey and Family.
I only knew of him through my family and had spoke with him a couple times on emails. What little I knew of him, he reminded me of my own father who had passed at the age of 49 from Cancer.
My thought's prayers and love are with you all right now and I hope that you find the strength in God to move on and be happy that at least he didn't suffer long.
He was truly a blessing to many and a joy to know. I look forward in seeing him in heaven.
God...

I met Gary on the internet. He was a mentor to me and the brother I would have picked, if I could have picked him out. Linda, you and your family are in my prayers. I honor him and am so glad to have had him in my life. I will most certainly miss him. He was a true hero and a gentleman. Thank you for sharing him with me. I will miss him and always remember him

To the Family,
Gary was a great "Doc" when I first knew him, and a wonderful friend when we got back together later in life. I'll miss seeing him at the reunions, but he'll be in my thoughts and prayers forever.

Semper Fi,

Lloyd F. Johnson

Linda & Family,

I am so very sorry to hear about Gary, was not aware he was ill. I have such fond memories of Mom and Gary cracking jokes and sure they are together now, know they always found each other at family gatherings and Gary would ask Mom, "Know any good jokes" and she always had a few good ones that would make him laugh.

May you have the strength to get through this most difficult time.

Thinking of you.
