Not sure what to say?

Dr. Berger was so smart. I often called him google. I really miss conversations with him and being able to pick his brain
Such an extraordinary human and tragic loss.
XOXO to all who cared for him.

I cannot believe 5 years have gone by without my favorite Dr. I miss your humor and your extra care! Ive never found anyone like you Gary! You are greatly missed!

I received a reminder in my email last week to remember Dr. Berger. It's hard to believe it has been 5 years! Though my father-in-law passed away this January, I remember that Dr. Berger was instrumental in his health care. I believe his care extended Dad's life some years. Dr. Berger was the one that taught us Parkinson's treatment is half medication, half exercise - that changed the way we looked at Dad's treatment. Dr. Berger was the one that told Dad he couldn't drive anymore - a tough...

Dr. Berger was a wonderful, quirky man. If not for him, I would not be walking right now. He brought me back from a back injury and knew exactly what to do. I miss him so as he was the one person that knew more about my accident than anyone. Such a sudden horrible loss. I hope his family had learned to cope with his loss. Vicki Purcell

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Berger's passing. He took care of my father-in-law after his hospitalization for Parkinson's several years ago. Over the years, he kept Dad as a patient and continued to care for him. Dr. Berger could tell Dad the difficult things he needed to hear, but in a straightforward and compassionate way. I knew he genuinely cared. We will surely miss him!

I just learned of Gary's death yesterday. I was both shocked and saddened. Dr. Berger was my rehab physician following my fall from a ladder in 2003 which broke my back and left me with a spinal cord injury. I couldn't have been in better hands. During my lengthy recovery, I felt Dr. Berger was not only my care giver but my friend. He treated me and my wife Judi with respect during my hospital stay and following care. I respected Dr. Berger's candid and direct assessment of my situation. It...

MY heart goes out to Gary's family. As a patient of Dr.Berger who came highly recommended not only was he kind but he also was genuinely sincere in helping me with suggestions that have raised the quality of my life. I will never forget how helpful he was to me.

We were so sorry to hear of Dr. Berger's recent passing. As everyone has said, he really was a wonderful, caring human being and doctor. He gave my husband hope after brain surgery and the complications resulting from a compartment syndrome in his left arm and blood clots in both of his legs, leaving him only one appendage actually functioning! He was the first to visit Jerry in the emergency room and reassure him that he was taking charge of his care, when he was not really even his...

Dr. Berger was one of the kindest, most caring persons I've ever known. He took care of my husband, who had an incurable illness. He was very special to us and I will always remember him in my prayers.
