Not sure what to say?

Just yesterday I was rereading my personal journal entries from the time I lost my sister Sue to cancer in 2008. Gary had been wonderfully kind to make a walnut cremation urn to hold her ashes, carving a heart into its beautiful lid. I had written of the beauty of his handwork and the kindness he showed to make this to honor her. How could we have known he too would be gone so soon after? Our deepest condolences to the Bishop family.

Sorry for your loss. My prayers are with the family in your time of need.. May u fly high with all angels

Dear Nancy, Thad, Jill and Nikki,
How I wish I'd learned of your husband's and father's departure sooner. I wish I could have greeted each of you personally, and told each of you how much I admired Gary. My condolences to the family. Mr. Bishop was my 6th grade teacher at Parchment Middle School sometime in the mid-60's. He was enthusiastic and passionate about educating our young minds, and he made a significant impact on me.

Dear Jill ,Jeff and family,
We pray that the LORD will be with you during this sad time. May he grant you peace as you go forward.
Sincerely
Tim & Cherrie Medendorp

He always took the time to take my kids on golf cart rides when they were little. My best memory is of him taking the time to get me up on the water skis! I remember very clearly trying over and over. It seems like 50 times. I didn't realize at the time how generous he was with his time and how patient he was to...
