Dr. Gary Lee Blanchard

Dr. Blanchard was the only veterinarian who knew what to do for my late Maxie when she was burned with a cleaning chemical from an accident. I had taken my beloved Maxie to three other veterinarians who prescribed eye drops which did not help Maxie. I was so glad to find Dr. Blanchard who saved Maxie´s eye. Rest in peace you dear soul. My deepest sympathies to Dr. Blanchard's family. I was one of the many students that learned so much from him. In addition to teaching us how to help our patients see, he also taught us we could have a little fun along the way. His lessons help me in my work every day. I am grateful to have known him. He was one of a kind.

I do not know if I ever met Gary on any of my visits to Michigan, but he was our Dignataries Sympathy 'brother' and will be in our prayers at our Friday night DSG here in Westboro, Massachusetts.

I am so sorry to learn of Gary's passing. I went to grade school with him in Warren. He always called me his half sister, because for a short time we were switched in the hospital. My prayers are with his family

I worked with Gary for many years at Haslett Animal Hosp, he was a very dedicated Dr. and a warm and caring man, he will be sorely missed in the veterinary field and also with his AA friends. Goodbye Gary, The Blanchard family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Blanchard was the best teacher in the College of Veterinary Medicine. He cared about students learning.
