Gary Wayne Blondell

Gary Wayne Blondell – passed away peacefully at 10:10 a.m. Friday morning, September 24, 2010 at his Powell Home following an extended illness at the age of 59. Mr. Blondell was a member of Timothy Street Baptist Church. He was an employee of O’Neal Steel for more than fifteen years and was an avid University of Tennessee Sports Fan. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Gary is preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Lucille George; sister, Joan Arena Blondell Inman; father, Weldon G. Blondell. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of forty-one years, Dinah Faye Blondell; sons whom he adored, Matthew Blondell of Knoxville, Anthony Blondell of Powell and Michael Blondell of Powell; great-grandson, Anthony Chad Blondell, Jr. of Powell; brothers, Todd A. (Kim) Blondell of Macon, GA and brother-in-law whom he considered a brother, Jeffrey R. Kiser; sisters-in-law, Joyce A. Scott and Kim Blondell; brother-in-law, Joe Inman; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Matthew Blondell, Michael Blondell, Anthony Blondell, Todd Blondell, Jeffery Kiser and Dwight Scott.
