Not sure what to say?

Gary lee poured me my first Denver beer 19 years ago. We worked together over the years. He gave me advice, introduced me to friends, shared....I really thank Gary for being there for me over the years and never judging me.Sir, you are the real deal. I appreciate you more than I can ever express.dy

I am sure sad to hear about Gary Lee's death. Awful news. He was such a consumately cool guy. Walked his talk, lived his own lifestyle in full-tilt, Grade-A fashion, was always down-to-earth and welcoming. He was good to so many music makers in this town, too. There won't be another like him in Denver or anyplace else. But I'm glad he was living his dream and pursuing his brand of happiness right up to the end. To quote Johnny Cash, "Drive on Gary Lee."

At peace

R.I.P GARY LEE, U R MISSED BY MANY! Til we meet again...

Diana, Mom and Lee and I want to tell you how sorry we are for the loss of Gary. Mom cried because it reminded her of the loss of her son Jeff. She knows your pain and wishes that you didn't have to endure it. Lee and I will keep you in our hearts. You were so gracious to us in your home when we shared meals with you and I remember you coming to dads funeral and your warm smile to ease our day. We wish you that today and everyday.

Gary Lee, my friend, you will be so missed, I loved your smile, your charm and your hugs.

Always a smile and a laugh! My heart is sad. Strength and love is being sent to the family! May your hearts remember all the love and kindness Gary shared with you all.

Gary Lee- Thanks for all the conversation and inebriation. It was a blessing to have known you. Denver lost one of its brightest lights when you left. See you on the flipside. Happy trails and Godspeed.

Tonight I tried so hard to get out of work to go to GL's signing. As I rushed around my unit and thought about not only the people in crisis I was serving I couldn't help to stop a moment to not only to think about GL, his family, and their crisis this week. While I wasn't close to him in recent years, I always tried to visit him when I was in town. I was so happy to visit with him a few times since I have returned and think of the fun times at the Skylark, the Shoe, and Gary Lee's. The...
