Gary M. Bong

My husband and I were remembering what a wonderful pediatrician Dr. Bong was. At my son´s first checkup after he was born in 1979, I brought in 4 legal sized sheets of paper with questions and concerns and he patiently answered every one. I have told this story so many times during the years. As a new mom with no family in the area, I couldn´t have found a more patient, caring, and excellent pediatrician. He was all my kid´s doctor. Now that I am a grandparent, I wish he was still around. He knew how to talk to young parents and assuage our concerns. RIP!

I knew Gary as a fellow pediatrican and a friend. He was a good doctor, dedicated to the welfare of children. What more needs to be said of a man who not only served the needs of his individual patients but also was a standard bearer for ALL children by his focus on the politics of health care. He represented that which all of us in the profession are called to do.

Dr Bong was my childhood Dr and I stayed with him even a young adult. I drove by the office where his office was and thought of him. My sincere condolences to the the family. He was a great physician.

Dr. Bong was an exceptional pediatrician and I will always remember him. I will add that he was very no nonsense and really tried to guide me with better life choices. He was strict and honest and because of that when I had children I tried to find a dr with those same values. I’m sorry I didn’t know sooner of his passing. Sending my deepest condolences to his family.

Dr.Bong was my childhood doctor. I would love coming to get my check ups and shots. He was like the Mr. Rogers of doctors.

The BEST pediatrician in Miami. Cared for my two children Joseph and Angela Bevilacqua theu the age of 18 years.

Dr. Bong was my doctor in North Miami Beach all my childhood. He is missed sooo much, the BEST doctor in the universe hands down. I wish he was still around for my kids. No one like him, RIP Dr.Bong. We love you
