     Gary Lee "Bear" Bostic, 62, of Pinsonfork, KY, passed away Tuesday morning, August 27, 2019, at Pikeville Medical Center.  He was born November 16, 1956, at South Williamson, KY, the son of the late John Bostic and Janice Blackburn Maynard.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Russell Blackburn.  "Bear" as he was known to everyone, worked several different jobs during his lifetime and until his health declined he was an active member of the Upper Pond Creek Volunteer Fire Department.  He also loved and was a member of the McAndrews Church of Christ.                  Survivors include his sisters, Sara (Tony) Graley of Pinsonfork, KY, Connie (Frank) Sullivan of Kimper, KY, Brenda (Gardner) Travillian of Harrodsburg, KY, and Edna Bostic of Plymouth, New Hampshire; one brother, Jim (Joan) Blackburn of Canada, KY, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.                                                                                                                                                                                                  Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29th and Friday, August 30th after 6 PM at the McAndrews Church of Christ.  His funeral will be held Friday evening at 7 PM with David Parsley officiating.  R.
