Not sure what to say?

Hi Diane. What a wonderful history of Gary's life. He did indeed lead a full life that was steeped in faith and God's love. We have fun memories of being on team together in Marriage Encounter and the years of our group meetings. We have asked the Lord to surround you and your family with his loving arms and that you be enveloped in comfort and strength. Gary as well as you are a part of the good and Godly people. We are sad for Gary's passing and will continue to hold dearly the moments we...

Dear Diane, I am so sorry to hear about Gary. I have always thought so much of the both of you. My thoughts and prayers will certainly be with you as you continue on with this loss. Love you, Mary K. Walton

I first met Gary and Diane in 1963 as Freshmen at Seattle University. Gary and Diane were made for each other. So mature for their age and both levelheaded people. Then we lost contact for some 40 years. They retired to McMinnville and saw my name as a trappist monk at O.L. of Guadalupe monastery. For 15 years they volunteered at the abbey. What a gift!!! RIP

Diane, We have such fond memories of our Sunday worship at Newman Center; and later getting to know you both thru St. Vincent DePaul. Tom & Mary Anne McPoil

Through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe let us unite our prayers for the repose of the soul of Dr. Buckley. May he rest in peace. May the Holy Spirit guide and protect his family at this difficult time. May Christ's peace and love be with Mrs. Buckley and their family as they prayerful mourn and hope in the Resurrection. Amen

Dianne, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. er

I had Gary as a professor at NAU in political science his first semester working there. I returned several years later to Flagstaff to open a restaurant. We became reaquainted as friends and as a good customer. Both of his boys worked at the restaurant at different times and were both excellent employees. I always enjoyed discussing politics with him. He will be missed.

I worked at NAU and got to know Gary when he was Ombudsman. He was compassionate and kind. I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories with him bring you comfort.
