Gary T. Burkhart

Gary, you are not forgotten. I have lost a couple of swim buddies in the past year (including my long time swim coach, Dan "DJ" Johnson which I just learned today)...maybe that's why you came to mind. Thanks for always being a friend at the Jackson Y.

I think of Gary often. He was such a good person and I am honored to have had him as a friend.

I am so bummed to hear today of Gary's passing. He was such a good guy and I had a lot of good times working and joking around with him. He had a great sense of humor. We teased each other a lot about the UofM/OSU rivalry and it was great when Kevin ended up going to UofM. It made the conversations that much more fun. I actually sent him a text not too long ago joking with him not knowing.... Makes me feel bad too many of our last conversations were just by text teasing...

I was sorry to hear of Garys passing. I first met Gary in Boy Scouts (Troop 422) and went to high school with him. I hadnt seen him since our 20th class reunion but I only have good memories of him. God bless Sally and all his family and friends.
