Not sure what to say?

I miss you Gary...you were a wonderful friend...you always had love in your heart & a pocketfull of miracles ! Mary & Vaiana are blessed to be watched over by you, from Heaven., where we all know you are.

We were just speaking of Gary. To this day his name comes up in conversations.
My first encounter with Gary, I was waiting with my dog, Bender in the waiting room (listening to some great 40's tunes) I was talking to Bender, and thanked him for getting down off the bench, and this little giant of a man popped his head out from behind a door and yelled " Did you just thank that "dawg"?"
Gary was more than a vet to us...he was a friend who loved our "dawgs" as much as we did.

I cannot believe this . I haven't been in touch with Dr.cane since I left the Prospect park animal clinic in the 70s. I was just going through the computer and wondering how my old friend the doc was doing. Thats what I called him back in the day.I think I was 16 at the time and doc was about 31. We all had a Great time together and like everything else we all move on. I do remember when Gary and Mary were going to get Vianna and Gary looked at Mary and me and saidWhat do you think of the...

We are sad of your passing. We visited you at your Hospital for over 16 years and to our son you were uncle Gary. Mary an Gary always were together and we always enjoyed seeing them. All of our pet were always in the best of care and to us you were a good friend.Miss you.

Such a great loss this world has suffered in the loss of Gary Cane. He was truly the definition of, " a good man." Going to his office was the only Dr.'s appointment we ever looked forward to, knowing we would hear stories of his amazing life adventures, and his life with his wife and daughter. I was always amazed at how his face would just light up when he spoke of, "my Mary," and "my greatest contribution to this earth, Viania." When he spoke about them, there was true love in his heart...

Gary Cane was one of the most remarkable human beings I've ever known. My daughter Chloe and I took our dogs, Bennie and Joon to him when we were told by a friend in Hillsdale how Gary had saved his cat's eyesight, staying up all night to administer eye drops every fifteen minutes! The day we met, Gary and I discovered how many things we had in common, including show business connections and living in Brooklyn. We had even known one or two of the same New York "wise guys!" That first...

I was very sorry to read about Gary's passing. He took care of many of my cats over the years and even learned how to pronounce their opera names.

My deepest condolences to you Mary.

The news of Gary's tragic death saddened me deeply. I recall first meeting him years ago at a friend's house and I liked him immediately. There were never any pretenses with Gary he was intelligent, friendly, engaging and at times funny. Not too long ago my pet dog Juliet became dangerously ill and required an operation. It was a Sunday afternoon and I called the hospital service. Gary got right back to me and had me bring her in. He would operate on her the following morning. So as...
