Not sure what to say?

My thoughts are with the family in this time of sorrow. I met Gary when I worked at his Dad's carwash years ago (1967). I always looked forward to his arrival at the carwash with his sense of humor and his movie star smile. His family made a lasting impression and my son was named after his Dad. Gary was special and will be missed.

MaryJo was my first supervisor when I joined Pacific Telephone in 1970. She was an excellent role model and made my 1st job a very pleasant experience. I later saw her just a couple of years ago at a Taste for Sports and although many years had past, when I introduced myself, she was still her sweet and happy self. Thank you MaryJo for being the person you were.

The last time I saw MaryJo was in Longs in La Mesa several months before she passed. They were two very nice people. I feel sad for their daughters and Gary's sister,Jeanette, but they are together now. May they enjoy Heaven together for all of eternity.

Sympathy and prayers to the whole family.
I met Gary when he was building his soapbox derby at his Dad's gas station on El Cajon Blvd., but my favorite memory is when Bea and Doug Clemesha were having a Christmas party and Gary arrived in his police car with the lights flashing and the siren going. What a great guy!

Family of Gary and Mary Jo,
We will miss their smiles and enjoyment of friends and family.
We will miss Gary at the Lakes.
