Not sure what to say?

Sylvia, I am so sorry for your loss. The loss we all feel, although not as dearly as you. I was thinking of you guys tonight with the storm coming in. I think often of our time together in Pakistan. Those times are remembered with fondness and laughter. I'm sorry I never kept in touch. Great affection for you and your Gary.

Dear Sylvia,
I had the great pleasure of meeting you at the USO Center at John F Kennedy Int'l Airport on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018. You were on a layover for your flight to Manchester to go visit your sister on the Isle of Man.
I took great interest in speaking to you about your many travel stations around the world while your husband, Gary, was in service to our country. Thank you for showing me his most handsome picture in uniform on his memory card. I could see the love in your eyes...

Dear Sylvia,

I look forward to sharing the celebration of Gary's life with you on January 14. This obituary is a beautiful tribute to a gentleman I wish we'd had the opportunity to know better.
Patricia

I am sorry to read of the loss of such a patriot. He had a great career in service to his country. I commend him for his lifetime achievements and I say to his family that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many veterans, like myself, who appreciate the military service of your loved one.
