Gary Coats

I remember Mr. Coats from my days as a student at Ickes Jr. High in the late seventies. He was a nice man who gave good advice and will be remembered very fondly. I had no idea he was the person behind the Foundations of American Democracy tour! What a great part of his legacy. I was lucky enough to go on that trip in 1978. Lorinda: I'm so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know your dad very well, but remember being at your folks' house for a meal. Of course, I knew your mom and enjoyed many Gallant Lady boat cruises with her and heard stories about their lives. I'll hold you in my thoughts and prayers.
