COLE, Gary Worth - age 68, passed away September 20, 2011 surrounded by family. A memorial will be held at a later date for close family and friends. Gary was born January 4, 1943 in Flint, Michigan the son of Worth and Dorothy (Riness) Cole. Answering the call of his country, Gary served in the US Air Force. For those who knew him the following depicts who Gary was.

The energy misplaced, goals undefined

Talents not used and mind unchallenged..

Have left you a searcher in life..

Not a doer

If there had been direction early…

To what heights you could have soared!

Gary enjoyed hunting, playing cards and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his longtime companion of 18 years, Susan James; daughters, Gina Wiegman and Jodi (Bob) Feierabend; sisters, Diane Cole, Jennifer (Dan) Mousseau, Collene Cole, Candi (Ron) Welch; and brother, Kevin (Jennifer) O'Connor; grandchildren, Marina, Cole, Lydia, and Perry along with grandchildren of choice, Hanna and Billy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Worth Cole; mother, Dorothy (Riness) O'Connor; and step-father, Francis O'Connor. The family would like to extend thanks to those at Genesys for their specialare and kindness, and to his home caregiver, Jesse. My brother, a friend of Gary's, died Sept. 17, 2010. They are probably together causing trouble and having a blast. They both will be remembered as a lot of fun and the "good guys". The family has our prayers and sympathy. The Howard Madison Family

Dear Jodi and Gina,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. I am praying for the Lord to comfort your hearts. Blessings to you all.

I am very sorry to read of your loss. When we suffer a loss it is very painful we often feel helpless an alone. I have found comfort knowing that our loving Creator cares for us. Psalms 147:3 says" He is healing the brokenhearted ones, and is binding up their painful spots."

Diane, I am so sorry to learn of your brothers death. may Christ keep you and your family in His hands. Mary Thorpe
