Read MoreMy deepest sympathy to Fran and all the family. I learned of Gary's death at the John Hancock retirees meeting this morning and was deeply sadened. I was Gary's secretary at the Hancock. We were Cronin and Cronin and used to have fun with calls from the agencies wondering if we were related. He was not only a great Boss but a wonderful person.

Dear Fran, I am so saddened to learn of Gary's passing. My heart and prayers go out to you, young Gary and Tracy and all of your family. He was such a great guy and was the best hockey coach our son Larry ever had and he remembers him often.
