Not sure what to say?

I will always be grateful to Gary for the lessons in civility in public discourse. Though he would never compromise his beliefs, he never stooped to attacking others who thought differently. My deep condolences to his family.

Sally, I was shocked and saddened to hear about Gary's passing. We enjoyed many times at ESTC, at the PAC Western Tournaments and at the Indian Wells Tournament talking tennis, politics, school sports etc. My thoughts and condolences are with you and your family. Warm Regards. Doug Post.

Remember Gary and Sally selling organic potatoes in the early phases of starting the Farmers market downtown Eugene, glad I knew Gary.

Gary's signature was compassion. I was blessed to have met him for he spoke with ruthless civility to all. His life brought beauty into the world. Travel well my friend, I hope we meet again.

I hope to attend the celebration of his life this summer.

I send my condolences to Sally and his family as you all adjust to your sudden loss. Gary did not get the interim Senator seat and was not interested in being anything more than an interim senator. He did...

Whenever we read an extraordinary letter to the editor, we knew it was by Gary Crum. You set a very high standard. Thank you.
