Not sure what to say?

I knew Gary since 7th grade. We went steady then for about a week. He was always the nicest most respectful guy. I'm so glad we got to have lunch while in town for our 40th reunion. It was so fun to catch up. This just breaks my heart. Gary will be forever greatly missed by our class.

Knew him in high school.Nicest guy in the world.Everybody liked him, sorry for your lose.Stedd class of 73.

Gary was a long time client and a good friend. I always enjoyed my time with him and unfortunately had not connected since our respective retirements. It was good to see his two daughters and share some memories with them on December 10. Gary's humor and wit will be missed. You had to know him to appreciate what he was all about. So long buddy. Tom Merritt and family.

So sorry for the loss of Gary. Matthew 5:4

Our condolences to the family. Gary was our neighbor in Mesa and always made the time to stop and chat. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I've known and loved Gary since we were little kids growing up together only 3 months apart in age. He was like my cousin, brother, and funniest friend. Our Mom's would take Gary and his brothers and me and my sisters on the most awesome adventures when we were young. When I last saw him at a family birthday party we were still sharing memories of those times and our special Santa Claus mugs my Mom gave us with our names on them. We still took them out at Christmas, even now. I will dearly...

Gary is and will always be the real Diehl!
We had a lot of fun because we always joked around and enjoyed hanging out together. We would speak to each other in a high pitched voice and bust out laughing. Gary will for sure be on God's committee to bring soul to us here on earth.
Later Bro!

My sincerest sympathies to the Diehl Family. Your loss if is felt by many.

Gary was a dear friend since 7th grade. I never heard him say a bad word against anyone. Always sweet, kind and joking. His memory was incredible. He will be sadly missed. Take wing my Friend, and worry no more. We will all see each other again one day. In the meantime, wait for us and watch over all who loved you. Barb
