Read MoreMy deepest condolences on Gary´s passing. Just out of the blue, I had thoughts of Gary this evening and decided to Google his name. That´s when I discovered his obituary. Gary and I had gone through training together at Benj. Franklin S&L in 1973. He was one of the nicest individuals I have ever known. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. I am so sorry Gary had to go through such a traumatic illness. He was such a good, kind man, always eager to help others. We know where he is, that he is free of pain, and that we will be with him again.

When I started with Benj. Franklin out of college in 1979 as a trainee I had some opportunities to interact with Gary and I always came away impressed by his calm, reassuring nature and approach to the role of the branch manager. I hope his family and loved ones are at peace with his passing.
