Not sure what to say?

Mr Dukes was a kind and gentle soul. I enjoyed our many conversations as a student at Brookpark from 1988-1991. You always knew he wanted the best for you, and every other kid. Sometimes people land in the perfect job, and that´s what happened here. Rest in peace.

Mr Dukes was always my favorite person from Brookpark Middle School. He was an amazing counselor, youth leader & mentor. He will be deeply missed, thank you for the memories & making middle school fun! (1996-1998)

Mr. Dukes was an amazing leader. I spent as much time as I could with him when I was at Brookpark. He´s going to be very missed.

Gary worked with me at Vanlue High School in the 1970's. He was always very pleasant and well-liked. He entertained all of us in the teachers' lounge with his experiences buying a new car. My condolences to his family.

I met Gary in 1980 at Brookpark Middle School, when we were both newly hired by SWCS. Gary and I, along with several other teachers became great friends and have many fond memories getting together over the years. Gary was the most incredible counselor I´ve ever met in my life. He had a gift for building relationships with middle school students! RIP my dear friend! You have more than earned your spot in heaven!

What a wonderful man and mentor. He will be missed.

Rest in peace Mr. Dukes. He was a compassionate and caring person that came into my life when I needed him the most. He encouraged me to write which I'll always be grateful for.

Mr. Dukes had such an impact on my life that lives on today. His kindness and compassion wasn´t just a gift, but a superpower that he shared with so many. Our community will feel this loss, and will also champion his contributions to make this world a better place one young soul at a time. Deepest condolences for your loss.
