I was saddened to hear that Gary (my childhhod friend and classmate) had passed away. I remember growing up with Gary on 29th St in Erie. I visited with Mary Ann and Gary when he attended the Univ of Detroit back in the 60's when I was going to school in Chicago. Last year I had a good visit with Gary at the Prep 50th reunion. He was snapping plenty of pictures with his faithful camera. Jeanne and I will miss him very much. Peace to all in this time of grief.

Bob and Jeanne...

Dave and Robert,

I am very sorry to read about the loss of your brother. The obituary shows that he was loved by a wonderful family. I remember Gary from St. John grade school and Prep.

Mary Ann, I was very saddened to hear the news today through a former classmate of mine and now reading the obituary. I graduated from the University in 1972 with a Math degree and Professor Eichelsdorfer (as I first knew him) helped me a great deal during that time. It was a tough curriculum and he helped by taking a genuine interest in me learning a difficult subject; in short he showed confidence in my abilities and I responded to that. Through the process, we became friends and...

Mary Ann, I so enjoyed seeing you & Gary last year at the reunion. It was great to reminisce about the "good old days" at St. Joes's. My prayers& sympathy are with you and your family......Carol Guerrein Dombkowski

This man taught me everything I needed to know about algebra and pre-calculus. A fine man and excellent professor. I had him towards the end of his career at the University, but he was still funnier than ever in class. Condolences to the family. (U of S Alum '07)

I met Mr Eichelsdorfer in the summer of 1966 as a evening student at the University of Scranton. I'll always remember his efforts to prepare me for calculus at Penn State that fall, a subject I would have had a great deal of difficulty passing had it not been for him. I received an electrical engineering degree, served in the Air Force and I'm now a computer specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, Thank you Mr Eichelsdorfer.

David and Nancy: So sorry to read of Gary's death. He was a classmate in several classes at Gannon and an all around good guy. May he rest in peace. In prayer, Terry Camp
