So sad to hear this. I had a class he taught and he made such a difference in my life. I was also lucky to be his teachers aide in (2000). He was such a caring and funny person. I will really miss him.

He was a great person and a awesome teacher....we all loved him.....

Very sad to hear of Gary's death. He was such a caring, sensitive, funny man. I can still see him at meal times in Mexico City, making me laugh and reminding me to hold life tenderly.
