Gary Faulkner

I am sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I knew Gary in the 1970s. We were each researching a common area of mathematics and frequently met at meetings of the American Mathematics Society. The last time we spoke was by telephone in the late 1980s or early 1990's. I last saw Gary at a meeting of the American Mathematics Society in St. Louis, Mo. in January 1976.
