Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your family, with the loss of your husband, brother and sisters.

Gary, I was saddened to hear of your passing. It's been well over 30 years since we saw one another. I can still hear you coming up the alley way on your way home singing Dean Martin's, "Everybody loves Somebody". My condolences to Regina, Rickey, Tana, and Ronnie. Thanks Ronnie for carrying me to safety during hurricane Betsy. Also, to your family and friends. Fly high angel!

It has been difficult to let it register in my heart that Gary is now in heaven surrounded by peace and love. I wanted so badly to visit again. The childhood memories came flooding back. With Gary's charm, personality and charisma, even as children, we knew he could be playing with his friends or doing something much more fun than playing games with us at Grannie's home. But, he chose to entertain his little cousins. I can only say thank you and I love you for the wonderful soul you are!!...

Gary, your bright smile and big heart will be missed by all of your family and friends. You were a generous and genuine man. It seems like just yesterday you were the best man in Rickey's and my wedding, so handsome in your tuxedo. My thoughts and prayers are with Karen, your children and grandchildren, your siblings and all those who love and will miss you.

Jim and I are so sorry. Jim has many fond memories of working on cars at Gary's house. He always had a smile for everyone. Gary will be sadly missed.
May the Lord God give you comfort.

Gary, I am glad your wife reached out to mine in an effort to reconnect to your long lost cousins! Thank God for Facebook! I wish I could have seen you, but I am glad Therese got the chance to. To the Fernandez family, although I have never met, or at least I don't remember meeting Gary as I was very young, I knew him by name because of all the great things that were said about him over the years. So sorry for your loss.

I'm sad that your family is feeling a great loss. You (and your family) will be in my prayers. I am 83 years old & no longer drive. My husband died July 4th, 2016, so I have to depend on others.Gary reminded me of his dad. God bless all of you!

To your family Gary: I know you will truly be missed. I will cherish in my heart all the good times we had as co-workers at UNO. Remembering the hams, bell peppers you brought for our Christmas Parties & most of all your crawfish boil at your home in Chalmette. We have all lost a true friend but Heaven has gained a gentle soul. Rest in peace Gary until we meet again.

I was blessed to have you as my Step-Dad for all of these years, and I wouldn't change a thing. We had a special bond between us that not many people understood, so I will hold that near and dear to my heart forever. Kaitlyn and Maddy were lucky enough to have you love them unconditionally and for that I am also grateful. The world definitely won't be the same without you here, but we know that we will see you again when it's our time to be with God in heaven.

Love,
Robert &...
