Alan, you were a great neighbor and friend during our elementary time. What a brave role model you were during the iron lung days when we were too young to understand it all. Peace and joy to you in your new life! Barbara Harrisberger Uptegraft

Alan was one of my very best friends in Junior and High School. Alan loved life, would fight anyone. All who knew him were devastated when he contracted polio at Will Rogers Boy Scout camp. May your journey be swift. Bob Andress.
