Not sure what to say?

My sympathies to the family. What a great man he was. I first met Swede many years ago at a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet. I always looked for Swede at any of the banquets I attended. He would always get a big smile on his face when he seen me. He loved talking hunting and at one banquet went out and came back with a big picture album to show me of his hunts. I will miss him.

Swede was my dad (joe)'s younger brother. Swede was so knowledgeable about family history and i so enjoyed our chats. he was my guide on my first Antelope trip 1994 Great time on that special hunt. love ya swede and miss our chats

It's a sad day when you hear a friend has passed. Swede was a man with many stories and was always the center of conversation. I've talked about him often. He will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences to Linda and family. We will see Swede again on the flip side.

Swede could walk into a room and light it up with his smile. Truly one of a kind. Being part of RMEF staff and as a volunteer I always enjoyed that time we shared together. Rest in Peace my friend.

I worked with Gary for 20 or more years. I have many good memories. My condolences to Linda and family

Swede was always there to offer a helping hand. Rest in Peace Swede, you will be missed.

Swede and family at clam camp.

Deepest sympathy to the family. Sure will miss that man.

Our deepest sympathy to Linda and Swedes family. I loved working with Swede and enjoyed our Argo adventures and many talks in Alaska. RIP Swede! You will be missed.
