Not sure what to say?

Steve and I were high school friends in Lenoir /city and then at UT. We reconnected at a reunion but lost contact again. I'll always remember him as a valued friend early in my life. My sincerest condolences to Donna.

I knew Steve and served with him at the lab on McClellan. I did not know he passed. I will morn his passing.

As a young airman from Tennessee, Steve took it upon himself to help me get used to the Air Force and living in the Sacramento area. Steve and Donna introduced me to my wife. Steve was my best man at our wedding. Janet and I recently celebrated our 31st anniversary. We will miss you.

Hi Donna, Heidi and I are deeply, deeply saddened to hear about Steve. I can only take comfort in the thought that he is with the Lord right now - even though we will all miss him dearly.

Annette and I add our thoughts and prayers to those of Steve's many friends and colleagues. Steve was one my initial instructors when I became an SEO. After a break in service, he was there to give me refresher training, and then flight instructor training. There are many fond memories of TDY's, but those to Kwajalein and Midway stand out. I hope to “see him down the road”, where I know he'll once again be my instructor.

The Lincoln Rifle Club was fortunate to have Gary as a member and a range master. We will miss him. Please let us know if we can be of service to you or any of his family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Most Sincerely, Barbara, LRC

I was introduced to Steve at the Lincoln Rifle Club. Over time, we found ourselves meeting there on Friday's for some shooting together. I sold Steve some firearms, and bought some from him as well. I was always impressed with his ability to reason thru a shooting problem of some sort, and have enough tools in his kit to take care of the problem. He was obviously very fond of Donna, his Son, a retired Marine, and his career in the Air Force, as he spoke about all of them all the time. It was...

Hi Donna, so, so sorry to hear about Steve, my blessings and support to you. I talked with Susan and we will be getting together with you hopefully in the spring, I'm so sorry for your loss, so wonderful to have met Steve and to know him and you. Bless you and may god bless you in your future journey, much love your way, carol

Very sad to lose a friend of ten years. A good guy.
