GILLIAM, Gary Don - Of Davison, age 73, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend David Flower officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Gary was born in Hornersville, MO on December 5, 1935, the son of Omer and Grace (Wainwright) Gilliam. On December 8, 1951, he married Greta Hopkins in Davison. Gary enjoyed collecting antiques and woodworking. Gary was also a General Motors retiree. Surviving are children, Richard Gilliam of Flint, Mike and wife Cheryl Gilliam of Flint, Barbara and husband Richard Doubenmeier of CA, Bethany and husband Larry Keel of Clio, Dan and wife Michele of Flint; Special friend Millie Barringer of Flint; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; Brothers, Ronald Gilliam of Flint and Foy Gilliam of Arkansas; many nieces and nephews.
