Gobel, Gary E. "Duke" age 64, of Eden Prairie, died on November 12, 2005. Gary was an awesome husband to Julie. He was previously married to Pat Gobel with whom he had 2 beautiful daughters, Kim Nigro and Heather Gobel. He also has 3 fabulous granddaughters, Samantha, Kayla and Victoria. These women along with his mother, Lorraine Gobel and mother and father-in-law, Jim and Joan Zimmerman continue to live and celebrate Gary's life. Gary now joins his father, Earl Gobel and sisters, Sandy Gobel and Patti Gracey. Gary was a longtime employee of the Star Tribune. He was a lover of golf, softball, tennis, hockey and all things fun. Please join our celebration of Gary's life on Wednesday, November 16, 4-7 PM at Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie Chapel, 7625 Mitchell Road (1 block N. of Hwy 5 on Mitchell Road). After the visitation the celebration will continue at the American Legion in Chanhassen off Hwy 5 and Great Plains Blvd. Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie 952-975-0400
