Gary Goforth

I remember Gary from when I grew up in Anna,IL. Great guy ! He was older , but I remember him playing H.S. sports. He lived a life of service to his community.

We knew Gary when he was an intern and then our next door neighbor.
A fine person, and a fine physician.

Sad to here that doc is gone in body . He will always be in my grateful heart.

Dr. G. has been my doctor for thirty-five years...He was a kind and gentle man who took great care of me during all maladies I presented with. To say I will miss him falls short; he was my rock through all times of turmoil. He referred to himself as "an old-time country doctor." No matter what, I always felt better once he walked into the room....It has been my great luck, my honor, and my privilege to have been one of his patients. He now belongs to the ages and the angels....

I was most saddened, indeed, to learn of the passing of Dr. Goforth. I had the good fortune to be his neighbor and high school classmate during his father's tenure as Superintendent of the Elementary School District in Anna. In bad weather he would often give me a ride to school as we both had to arrive early for band practice.

Growing up together I remember his kind and gentle way with others. I am sure that he will be missed greatly by his family, friends, and patients.

Just wanting to extend our sympathy to all of you, at this time of sadness. Doc was always understanding of his patients, their needs and always had time to spend with them at their office visits.

Dr. Goforth was a wonderful, kind man. He delivered all 3 of our children. He always made his patients feel at ease. Even when we had to switch doctors due to insurance companies, he helped pick out new doctors in our providers choices. He made great choices and found caring people just like himself.
