Not sure what to say?

Karen, Jason and Emily,

I am at a loss for words. I was not aware of Gary's passing until September 25th. I know there is an empty spot in your hearts right now. I will always remember the good times. He was a special friend. You all will be in my prayers.

To the Gore family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will miss his smile and his honesty. I truly regret not having a chance to learn more about our history from him. His passion about history made any topic exciting.

To the Gore family,
I was saddened to learn of Gary's death. As Butch and Jim wrote, he was funny and very smart. He always spoke so highly of his family. He was immensely proud of his childen, despite their more liberal views. I pray that Gary is at peace now and that you will find some comfort in that. We will all miss him. Barbara Smith

To Karen, Emily, Jason and Kristen:

Please know that the thoughts of many others are with you at this time. I could not agree more with Butch's comments about Gary. He was very smart, very funny and a very passionate person.

Rest in peace, my friend.

Jason, Kristen, Em, and Karen,
I am so sorry for your loss. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything at all, please let me know. Love to you all.

I worked with Gary for almost 20 years. He was a gracious host, as I ate many meals with him and Karen during my many trips to Radford over the years. He was passionate about his politics and his firearms. Gary was never shy to offer his opinion, whether you wanted it or not. Besides being one of the funniest guys I have ever known, he was quick witted and smart. He loved history, especially military history, and even more, civil war history. Gary was a great friend, and we will miss him...

Gore Family,

Please accept my heartfelt condolences, along with Mildred (sister of Louise) and Betty's. We are saddened to hear of Gary's passing and pray that God will comfort you all during this difficult time. Please know that we lovingly think of you often.
