Gary,
As the first guy I met on campus and later roomed with back in the St. Leo days, I had met one of the best friends for life and "my most unforgettable character". There were lots of laughs and fun back then...and later on too. I'll never forget how you doubled down on all your bets on the Reds with all the Yankee fans at school in '76. Being a Reds fan myself, it was hilarious! God speed big boy. I'll see you one day and we'll have some more fun. That is if I can get to you...

I haven't seen Gary in years, but I remember him fondly. The obit says it all. To his family and friends, I wish you peace and acceptance. And, to Gary, I say, "play through", my friend.
