I know that this publish is late...then again this is how long it took me to think of something to write...Uncle Snakes death hit myself and Our Familly and Dear close friends extremly hard. I know for a fact that I have made my uncle proud...cus there was a time in my life where i know that he wasnt and that hurt like now other pain....the last few times i saw Uncle Snake was when i was home on leave for other family funerals..and i tried to call him and see him as much as i could...we drank...

I sat in Straw hat pizza last night, when I glanced at the wall only to see a familiar face. It was Gary's you can recognize that smile from anywhere, When I saw that it was in memory of... my heart skipped a beat.

I hadn't seen Gary in a number of years, but even when we did come across each other, usually when getting pizza or in the grocery store, he still remembered me after being my Tee-ball coach in 1992.
I still remember the Orange Islanders uniforms we wore.

Dear Linda, Toni, and Granico Family I am so very sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I only knew him as a typical teenager, and can tell by the comments of others what a wonderful, giving, and caring man he became. My thoughts are with all of you. Linda - I would love to hear from you by e-mail or phone. [email protected] (916) 997-3222 Carol (Howley) Johnston

I'll never forget his status as a legendary American River Little League staple. He even let me interview him about baseball once for a couple hours for a school project. Sad I couldn't be there. Though it's been many years since I've seen him, I appreciate everything he did for me and the other future major leaguers, and I pray for peace and comfort in his family. Hot Toddy Ham N' Egg It. I will never forget it.

To the Granico Family, It's been too many years since our families have been close, but I will always remember our childhoods with the fondest memories. Gary and my brother Vance played together as I did with Linda. Our families fished and vacationed together in the Chester area. Mom and Jean were good friends. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Love and affection to all,

Dear Granico Family,
I was so saddened to see that Gary had passed. I was part of the Granico family years ago, being married to his cousin, and Gary was such a wonderful part of that time in my life. He was always sooo happy, made everyone feel good and I wasn't surprised to see that he had spent the rest of his life doing that with little league and his many friends. As mentioned by others, he always had a nickname for people, mine was "Cuz" and he continued to call me that which I ...
