I knew Gary a little in high school. Several years after graduating I reconnected with him and was pleased to learn he was involved with justice issues. It is good to see he stayed true to his values throughout his life. His was a life truly well lived, an inspiration to those of us still seeking justice for all.

I remember Gary quite well, having also attended Creston High School and Second Congregational Church. My parents and his parents were friends. He seems to have accomplished much in his life. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant!" (Matthew 25:21). My sympathy to the family.
